PARKING
We have plenty of free on-site parking, but it can fill up during busy times. If our carpark is full, you’ll find extra pay parking just a short stroll away:

• Willson Parking – 1 min walk more info
Both offer accessible spaces for those who need them.
OUTDOOR SEATING
• Our outdoor tables are first-come, first-served and due to demand, can’t be reserved. You can easily order from the bar, then relax and enjoy the view outside.
• Depending on the size of your party, the VIP Gazebo area is also available to reserve for exclusive use. Please see the Private Functions section
OPENING HOURS
We’re open Tuesday & Wednesday from 12 pm till around 10pm, and Thursday to Sunday from 11 am till around 10pm. We are closed on Mondays. Our kitchen will take last meal orders of the night at 9:15pm unless it is an unusually quiet night and we close earlier. We recommend you always call us on 09 307 5979 to avoid disappointment.

• When you make a booking through our website, one of our team will call or email to confirm your table (or offer an alternative time if needed).
• Please note: your booking is confirmed when we’ve either spoken to you or emailed you. If you need a booking urgently or haven’t heard from us, give us a call at 09 307 5979.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Note: For casual group drinks and nibbles, we often have plenty of standing room on the deck and in the ‘Boatshed’ Bar. These areas are available on a first come first served basis.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
GIBBS ROOM
The Gibbs Room hosts up to 100 Swashbucklers guests and can be booked for your exclusive use. It comes with its own bar, AV setup, and full service. A deposit of $500 will secure the booking for your exclusive use which comes off your final bill if your party meets our minimum spend.
OUTDOOR VIP GAZEBO
At the very end of our deck, Swashbucklers has a private, covered, VIP Gazebo area that’s perfect for special occasions and private functions. This space can comfortably host from 30 to 70 Swashbucklers guests and offers some of the best harbour views in Auckland.
Since it’s not part of our online group booking system, reservations are handled directly with our team. If you’d like to secure the Gazebo for your event, please contact us by phone or email and we’ll be happy to help with availability, menu options, and setup to make your function memorable.
A deposit of $300 will secure the booking which comes off your final bill if your party meets our minimum spend.
BOOKINGS NOTES
• Bookings are confirmed once we receive your deposit. Deposits are accepted via EFTPOS, cash, bank deposit and all major credit cards
• The booking fee is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the booking time
• Please confirm the number of guests attending 48 hours prior to your event.
• The host is responsible for the final bill – we will provide you with one account per party. Unfortunately, we cannot accept separate payments.
• Please call us in advance if you are running late – we will do our best to accommodate you and will endeavour to hold your booking for up to 30 minutes.
We appreciate that the above might seem like a lot to consider when making a group reservation. We believe it’s better to outline policies from the start, so we can focus on making your event the very best it can be.

Our policy is one account per table, but we’re happy to split the total evenly between diners.
(Example: a $300 bill for 5 guests can be split to $60 each.)
DRESS & CONDUCT
Swashbucklers is a place for everyone—from sailors and families to business groups and friends. To keep things fun, safe, and welcoming for all, we have a dress code and an acceptable behaviour code.
Dress Code:
• Everywhere: no muddy shoes or bare feet please
• Restaurant: no singlets
Behaviour code:
• We love a lively atmosphere, but disruptive or intoxicated behaviour may result in you being asked to leave. Please don’t put us in that position.
• We have a moral and legal responsibility to promote responsible drinking. For the safety of our clients and the wider public, we may refuse service.
• We reserve the right to ask any individual or group to leave if their behaviour impacts the comfort and safety of others.
FAMILIES & KIDS
We welcome families and love seeing kids enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. To keep things safe for everyone:
• Please ensure that children are supervised and remain at your table. For safety, staff carrying hot food and drinks need clear pathways.
• It seems obvious, but it happens, we ask that children do not play in the car park.
